It all started with a simple idea – the idea that our Lexington community deserved a collaborative space for exchanging; exchanging innovative ideas and concepts, exchanging business connections, and especially, exchanging laughs and stories over local food and drinks – thus The Cornerstone Exchange was born! This multipurpose space is a front door for the university and will house several Kentucky-based restaurants, as well as the UK Innovation Space, Esport facilities and Cornerstone Garage.
We're proud to serve UK campus and the greater Lexington community!
What Exactly is The Cornerstone Exchange?
IT'S A COMBINATION OF FOUR AWESOME SPACES
ESPORT FACILITIES
The theater features 100 seats on retractable risers, and the esports gamers lounge offers more than 50 PC-based gaming units and multiple console-play areas – allowing for daily use of the space as well as the ability to host esports tournaments and conferences.
CORNERSTONE GARAGE
UK has added more than 900 new off-street parking spaces that are conveniently accessible from anywhere on UK’s campus and are available to students, faculty and community members alike.
THE EXCHANGE
A unique, multi-vendor dining area on the ground level; created for the campus and community to exchange ideas, exercise innovation and experience local food and drinks. We are committed to featuring homegrown, Kentucky-based companies.
UK INNOVATION SPACE
The open-format space and use of technology maximizes student success and creates a sense of community, connecting the university and city. It supports solution-driven thinking and design, connects people with different passions and provides new pathways for career growth in entrepreneurial fields.
